سيُطلب من الخبير الاستشارى أيضًا الدعم فى بعض مجالات البرنامج لمؤسسة التمويل الدولية بالإضافة إلى نطاق COP27
The Egypt Country Management Unit (CMU) is hiring an individual consultant to support the team in leading the IFC Egypt office engagement on the road to, and during the Conference of the Parties (COP) summit
COP27 will taking place in Sharm El Sheikh from November 7-18th. The hosting of the COP27 in Egypt will help catalyze additional climate business in the economy and create opportunities for the private sector to invest. It will also create a platform to discuss a conducive regulatory environment for a green economy in Egypt and Africa
Scope of Work
COP27
In coordination with the CMU, lead IFC Egypt Country Office Engagement in COP27
Ideate initiatives for IFC Egypt on the Road to COP27
Keep track of external COP27 developments, including relevant climate meetings and announcements
Support briefing notes, preparations, and meeting takeaways in relation to COP27
Coordinate with a large and diverse set of internal stakeholders at IFC and the World Bank
Build relationships with key external stakeholders involved in COP27
Oversee budget for COP27 engagement
Liaise with the communications team and provides content input
Supervise logistical preparations as needed
Ad hoc assistance as required
The consultant will also be asked to support the Country Management Unit in some areas of the IFC CountryOfficeprogram in addition to the COP27 scope
Selection Criteria and Job Requirements
Masters degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in consulting, project management, relationship management related to private sector development
Understanding of climate business drivers and challenges
Experience managing a complex project/program with multiple stakeholders and moving parts
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, ability to work successfully in multicultural teams and across countries. Good at interacting directly and independently with key counterparts (including private sector and government
Understanding of the Egyptian market and cultural landscape
Experience working with international organizations and with governmental agencies
Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills in English. Arabic speaking and writing are a strong advantage
Outstanding organizational and time management skills; ability to deliver in tight deadlines
